A founder and managing partner of Ramsden & Lyons, LLP, Marc Lyons has extensive experience in the areas of education law, employment law, insurance law, personal injury claims, trucking liability litigation, commercial litigation, defense of governmental entities, civil rights claims, products liability, professional liability, construction law, and real estate litigation.

Mr. Lyons has over twenty-five years of experience in trial and appellate law in state and federal courts in Idaho and Washington. He is licensed to practice in the courts of Idaho and Washington, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Lyons has tried numerous personal injury litigation cases involving issues of products liability, professional liability, construction law, real estate, and commercial transactions.

Mr. Lyons's employment law experience includes representation of employers in connection with a variety of employment issues. He has extensive experience in defense of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, and related claims. Mr. Lyons's practice includes advising employers and companies regarding employment law and tort liability, commercial liability, and business practices issues.

Mr. Lyons graduated in 1977 from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and a Major in Accounting. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Idaho in 1983.  Mr. Lyons has an AV-rating with Martindale-Hubbell, is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), and is licensed as a CPA in the State of Idaho.
